Clinic coming to

williamsville north

Williamsville Stampede is excited to announce that the award winning coaching staff of the nationally ranked Pace University Setters  will be coming to Williamsville North High School. Led by two time coach of the year Kayte Kinsley, the Pace staff will be conducting an intensive instructional and ID clinic  on  Sunday May 5th, 2019. 

A variety of field hockey drills, games, and development stations will improve your fundamental and technical skills and offer a preview into the demands of playing college field hockey.  The sessions will be focused on speed of play, building from small sided to 11v11.

In only their fourth year as a varsity program, the Setters not only enjoyed their most succesful season to date, but they also put forth one of the best campaigns in the entire nation. Pace won the Northeast-10 Conference's Regular Season championship with a 13-0 record before advancing all the way to the NCAA Division II National Semifinals.

All in all, the Setters wrapped up the regular season on a 14-game winning streak and ended the year with the most wins of any team in country (18). Pace was also ranked as high as second in the nation, and finished the season slotted No. 1 in the East Region.

In addition to all of the athletic success, the Setters completed another stellar semester inside the classroom. Coach Kinsley's team finished the fall 2018 semester with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.66. Pace's success academically included four members of the Blue and Gold earning perfect 4.0 GPAs.
